Ryan focuses his practice primarily on real estate matters, debtor-creditor law, secured transactions, and bankruptcy. He has represented clients in title insurance claims, suits on promissory notes, foreclosures, and cases involving breach of contract, lien priorities, and commercial real estate. Ryan takes a pragmatic and efficient approach with clients, leveraging his experience for lenders, real estate owners and developers, and companies at all stages of operations. Before joining Conroy Baran, Ryan spent over 15 years working as a commercial litigator in Kansas and Missouri within the Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights, Real Estate, and Corporate Restructuring practice groups of a number of national law firms.
