Heath focuses his practice on intellectual property issues with a particular emphasis in patents and including trade secrets, copyrights, and trademarks. He received his bachelor’s degree in Physics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He earned his juris doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Prior to attending law school Heath worked as an engineer in various roles including designing fire systems. After law school Heath worked for nearly five years as a patent agent representing large institutional clients in obtaining and prosecuting patents.
